New Delhi: Former BJP Delhi President Mange Ram Garg passed away at the age of 82. He took his last breath at Sri Balaji Action Hospital in Delhi after prolonged illness on Sunday morning.
Garg was not keeping much well due to age-related issues and was reportedly undergoing certain treatments.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has offered his condolences stating that Mange Ram Garg Ji's demise is saddening.

According to the Delhi BJP office, his body will be kept in the state office from 11.30 am to 1 p.m. where people will be able to pay him homage.
According to the sources, Mange Ram Garg had donated his body to AIIMS.
Garg had joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in 1958 and became the BJP Delhi President in 1997. Mange Ram Garg was a former member of Delhi Legislative Assembly in 2003.
Other senior leader pays tribute to ex- Delhi chief
Union Minister Amit Shah and other senior BJP leaders including Lal Krishna Advani and Sushama Swaraj paid tributes to Mange Ram Garg at the BJP headquarters here.
Several dignitaries including President Ram Nath Kovind, BJP working president JP Nadda, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath condoled the demised of the former Wazirpur legislator.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also condoled his death in a tweet, which said that he was "saddened" to hear the news of his demise.
He was considered close to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.
In a statement, Garg' family said that his body will be donated as per his wish.
