সন্ত্রাসদীর্ণ সেই দিনটির 11 বছর পূর্তি হল আজ ৷ 2008 সালের 26 নভেম্বর সন্ধ্যায় জঙ্গি হামলায় রক্তস্নাত হয়েছিল মুম্বই ৷ তিনদিন ধরে মুম্বইয়ে কার্যত তাণ্ডবলীলা চালিয়েছিল পাকিস্তান থেকে আসা জঙ্গিরা ৷ প্রাণ হারিয়েছিলেন 166 জন ৷ 300 জন গুরুতর জখম হয়েছিলেন ৷ নজিরবিহীন সেই জঙ্গি হামলায় বাকরুদ্ধ হয়ে পড়েছিল ভারত সহ গোটা বিশ্ব ৷
পাকিস্তান থেকে জলপথে 10জন সশস্ত্র জঙ্গি ভারতে ঢুকেছিল ৷ তারপর তারা হামলা চালায় ভারতের অর্থনৈতিক রাজধানী মুম্বইয়ের ছত্রপতি শিবাজি টার্মিনাল রেল স্টেশন , লিওপোল্ড ক্যাফে , নরিমান হাউজ় ও তাজ হোটেলে ৷
কমান্ডো অভিযানে 10 জঙ্গির মধ্যে 9 জনই নিহত হয় ৷ জীবন্ত ধরা পড়ে আজ়মল কাসব নামে এক জঙ্গি ৷ তার স্বীকারোক্তিতে জানা যায় এই হামলার সঙ্গে জড়িত পাকিস্তানের জঙ্গিগোষ্ঠী লস্কর-ই-তৈবা ৷ পরবর্তীতে বিচারে ফাঁসি হয় কাসবের ৷
