സിംല: ഹിമാചലില്‍ തുടരുന്ന കനത്ത മഞ്ഞ് വീഴ്‌ചയെ തുടര്‍ന്ന് ഹിമപാത സാധ്യതക്കുള്ള മുന്നറിയിപ്പുമായി സംസ്ഥാന ദുരന്ത നിവാരണ വിഭാഗം. കുളു, സിംല, ലഹുള്‍ സ്‌പിറ്റി, കിന്നായൂര്‍, ചമ്പ ജില്ലകള്‍ക്കാണ് മുന്നറിയിപ്പ് നല്‍കിയത്. ഹിമപാതത്തിന് കൂടുതല്‍ സാധ്യതയേറിയ സ്ഥലങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്ന് ആളുകളോട് മാറി താമസിക്കാന്‍ അധികൃതര്‍ മുന്നറിയിപ്പ് നല്‍കി. ഈ ജില്ലകളില്‍ ജനുവരി പന്ത്രണ്ടിന് വൈകുന്നേരം അഞ്ച് മണിവരെയാണ് മുന്നറിയിപ്പ്. കിന്നാന്നൂര്‍ ജില്ലയിലെ പൂഹ് മേഖലയില്‍ ബുധനാഴ്‌ച രണ്ടു തവണ ഹിമപാതം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ആളപായം റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട് ചെയ്‌തിട്ടില്ല.

Avalanche warning issued in five Himachal districts
Shimla, Jan 11 (PTI)Following heavy and widespread snowfall in Himachal Pradesh, the state disaster management authority (SDMA) has issued an avalanche warning for several areas.
Avalanches may occur in Kullu, Shimla, Lahaul-Spiti, Kinnaur and Chamba districts till 5 pm on January 12, an SDMA official said.
People have been advised to stay away from avalanche prone areas in these districts, the official added.
There is possibility of avalanches taking place in Banjar area, Manali-Beas Kund axis of Kullu district, Manali-Leh axis of Kullu and Lahaul-Spiti districts, Spiti-Kinnaur-Shimla areas of Lahaul-Spiti, Kinnaur and Shimla district, Udaipur-Killar-Chamba area of Lahaul-Spiti and Chamba districts, the official said.
Meanwhile, two avalanches occurred in Pooh sub-division of Kinnaur district on Wednesday and Thursday but no loss of life or property was reported, another official said. PTI DJI
