ന്യൂഡൽഹി: അഗ്നിപഥ് പദ്ധതിക്കെതിരെ രാജ്യത്തൊട്ടാകെ വ്യാപകമായ പ്രതിഷേധം കത്തിപ്പടരുന്നതിനിടെ സമവായത്തിനായി കൂടുതൽ വാഗ്‌ദാനങ്ങൾ പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ച് കേന്ദ്ര സർക്കാർ. സെൻട്രൽ ആംഡ് പൊലീസ് ഫോഴ്‌സിലെയും അസം റൈഫിൾസിലെയും നിയമനങ്ങൾക്ക് അഗ്നിവീറുകൾക്ക് പത്ത് ശതമാനം സംവരണം ഏർപ്പെടുത്തുമെന്ന് കേന്ദ്ര ആഭ്യന്തര മന്ത്രാലയം അറിയിച്ചു.

ഈ ഇളവുകൾ കൂടാതെ സിഎപിഎഫിലും അസം റൈഫിൾസിലും റിക്രൂട്ട്‌മെന്‍റിനായി അഗ്‌നിവീറുകൾ അപേക്ഷിക്കുമ്പോൾ നിശ്ചിത പ്രായപരിധിയെക്കാൾ മൂന്ന് വർഷത്തെ പ്രായപരിധിയിൽ ഇളവ് നൽകാനും തീരുമാനമായി. കൂടാതെ അഗ്നിവീറിന്‍റെ ആദ്യ ബാച്ചിന് പ്രായപരിധിയിൽ അഞ്ച് വർഷത്തെ ഇളവും ലഭിക്കും.
അതേസമയം പദ്ധതിക്കെതിരെ രാജ്യമൊട്ടാകെ പ്രതിഷേധം ഇരമ്പുകയാണ്. ഉത്തരേന്ത്യയിൽ ആരംഭിച്ച പ്രതിഷേധം കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം ദക്ഷിണേന്ത്യയിലേക്കും വ്യാപിച്ചിരുന്നു. സമരക്കാർ നിരവധി ട്രെയിനുകൾ അഗ്‌നിക്കിരയാക്കിയിരുന്നു. ഇതിനെത്തുടർന്ന് നിരവധി ട്രെയിനുകൾ വഴി തിരിച്ച് വിടുകയും റദ്ദാക്കുകയും ചെയ്‌തിരുന്നു.
