Meerut (Uttar Pradesh): The CBI team questioned several officers at Meerut Cantonment Board on Monday. The CBI team reached the Meerut Cantonment Board office. This created a stir in the office. Sanitary supervisor Sanjay Kumar was interrogated. Officials said that "the team has also detained an officer. Similarly, the CBI team also reached the official residence of Cantonment Board CEO Jyoti Kumar on Mall Road."

The CBI team was engaged in searching government records till late evening. The CBI conducted the raid based on a complaint from an unidentified man from Meerut alleging misdeeds in the recruitment of 800 contractual workers for the Meerut Cantonment Board. However, the Cantt Board administration was keeping mum on the recruitment scam.
