Literacy test was organised for the migrants labourers staying in quarantine centre in GGCI camps. Labourers who will pass the test will be awarded with prize and certificates.

Lohaghat (Uttarakhand): The migrant labourers staying in quarantine relief centre in GGCI camps here in Uttarakhand are giving literacy test.

A literacy test was organised for the workers in the government girls inter college at Lohaghat.

Those labourers who will pass the test will be awarded prize and certificates.

The labourers who appeared in the test belonged to the age group of 40-45.

The test was organised for 36 labourers and was conducted under the guidance of BEO Harendra Sah and under the supervision of principal Meena Shukla.

The question paper was prepared in two sets: Group A and Group B. The questions in group A was based on general knowledge and the group B questions were about identifying voice and pictures.

In Group A test, Vimlesh Yadav got the first position while Rajendra Kumar was on second and Manjo Kumar stood third.

Amar Pal came first in group B test while Amit Yadav was second Anil Yadav was on the third position.

The best performers would be decided soon by the camp co-ordinator teacher Anup Kaushal and Vikramjit Chouhan.

Labourers expressed gratitude towards district magistrate, CEO, SDM and the teachers for organising literacy camp for them.
