Seoni (Madhya Pradesh): An elderly Hindu woman, who lived here with her two daughters and died of old age-related illness, was cremated with all traditional rituals by Muslims.
The family of three did not have any male member and the daughters of the deceased were not in a position to perform the last rites of their mother.
As some Muslim youth of the area came to know about the situation, they got together and arranged everything required for her last rites.
They took the body of the elderly woman to the crematorium and performed the last rites on behalf of her family.
The work done by them is being appreciated by people in the city.
