Bhopal: A 4 km long queue of trucks loaded with wheat in Damoh district of Madhya Pradesh was captured in a drone camera thus raising question on the government's strategies to procure wheat from the farmers, a source said on Tuesday.

Allaying the fears of farmers who had already harvested their crops, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had promised that the govt will begin procurement of wheat.

"An SMS was sent to the registered farmers mentioning the date when they were needed to come but out of fear, farmers across the state have hoarded their trucks thereby forming a long queue. In fact, this scorching heat is making it difficult for them to wait yet they have queued up," an official said.
