Ranchi: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Lalu Prasad Yadav's lawyer has secured his release order at the Ranchi CBI court. Lalu's lawyer Prabhat Kumar paid a bail bond of Rs 10 Lakhs and secured his release from Dumka Jail.
The RJD supremo is currently undergoing treatment at Delhi's All India Institute of Medical Sciences.

Earlier, Lalu was granted bail by the High Court on April 17 in the Dumka treasury case related to the Fodder Scam. However, the Jharkhand State Bar Council ordered its advocates to stay away from judicial work till May 2 in light of the rising Covid cases.

Finally, after a circular was issued by the Bar Council of India, the lawyer of Lalu Prasad Yadav completed the process of his release by furnishing the bail bond in the CBI Court.
Advocate Prabhat Kumar informed that the release order will reach the RJD supremo in Delhi by late evening or tomorrow morning and he will be out of custody.
