Five people were killed in the collision between a ten-wheeler loaded truck and a car near Chikanota Dhobghatti on Tajpur-Muzaffarpur National Highway in Bihar. Four of the five deceased belonged to the same family - man, his wife and two sons.

Vaishali (Bihar) : In a road accident at Vaishali, Bihar, five persons died on the spot when a car was hit by a truck near Chikanota Chowk NH 28 of Baligaon police station area of ​​Patepur block. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and took everyone to Patepur PHC (primary health centre) where the doctors declared them as brought dead.

The in-laws provided a car for them to return home after the marriage was over. They had to go to Kanti Kalwari village of Muzaffarpur. Five people were killed in the collision between the ten-wheeler loaded truck and the car near Chikanota Dhobghatti on Tajpur-Muzaffarpur National Highway. The truck hit the car at a high speed. Apart from the driver, the husband, his wife and two children succumbed to the injuries on the spot. Four of the five deceased belonged to the same family.

Farewell received from in-laws Last farewell

Kamlesh Kumar had gone to his in-laws' house with his family to attend the wedding at Jamun Mahto's house in Rehmatpur village of Samastipur. While returning from there, the car driver Rohit was behind the steering wheel. Seeing the empty road, the car driver tried to overtake the truck which led to the accident.

Kamlesh used to work as a mason

The villagers said that Kamlesh used to work as a mason as well as a contractor for building construction. His father's original residence was in Khabra. His family has lived in Calvary for a long time. Elder brother Rakesh told that 'Kamlesh was returning home with the whole family after hiring a car from Samastipur to return from the wedding ceremony. Meanwhile, an accident took place in which Kamlesh's wife and both sons along with the driver died."

The deceased have been identified as Kamlesh Mahato, wife Rinku Devi, son Aman Kumar, and Ankit Kumar, residents of Kalwari village under the Kanti police station area of ​​Muzaffarpur. All these people together went to their in-laws' house on 2nd May to participate in a marriage ceremony.
