Raipur (Chhattisgarh): Former governor Satya Pal Malik’s explosive interview where he raised strong allegations highlighting the failure of the central government to prevent Pulwama attack has met with strong reactions from across the political network.
Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra, commenting on Malik's remarks, said in a tweet that the former Jammu and Kashmir governor had laid bare everything in a lucid manner. She accused the government of covering up the truth about the Pulwama attack and said that an RSS man pays bribes for Adani. Moitra also criticized the Indian media for not covering Malik's explosive allegations and asked how long the media would continue to crawl before the government.

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel also reacted strongly to Satya Pal Malik's allegations. He said that the central government and the BJP should explain the issue of the martyrdom of the soldiers to the people. He also said that the government was taking action against BJP leaders in Chhattisgarh for creating differences in society by making hate speeches. Baghel warned that no one would be spared who tried to spoil the atmosphere in the state.
"The issue is related to the martyrdom of the soldiers. The central government and the BJP should explain it to the people. We have issued notices to BJP leaders in Chhattisgarh for creating differences in society by making hate speeches. We are taking action against the BJP leaders as per the law. No one will be spared who will try to spoil the atmosphere in the state," Baghel said.

Former Governor of Jammu & Kashmir Satya Pal Malik’s interview has created a stir in the political arena with his explosive allegations about the Pulwama attack and the central government's failure to prevent it. According to Malik, the CRPF had requested aircraft from the Union Home Ministry for the transportation of troops, but the request was turned down by the ministry. The former governor also accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of being ignorant about the security situation in the Valley and claimed that the PM had silenced him on the issue of Pulwama lapses. Malik also alleged that the Prime Minister had no problem with corruption.
