Iprobono Study Children In Prison

According to a iProbono study, data shows that at least 9,681 children were wrongly incarcerated in adult prisons between 2016 and 2021. It established that an average of over 1,600 children were transferred out of prisons across the country every year. Those inmates were identified as children by Juvenile Justice Boards (JJB) and were subsequently moved to juvenile homes from adult jails.
