Imd Issue Orange Alert

Kerala's Palakkad district has been issued an 'orange alert' by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) due to the possibility of a heatwave. The state government has closed educational institutions and instructed people to be cautious. The IMD predicts temperatures to soar up to 41 degrees Celsius and 40 degrees Celsius from April 29 to May 3.
