New Delhi: Senior Congress leader Raashid Alvi on Saturday said that Centre should be tough in dealing with Pakistan. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi cannot keep silent after IAF Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman's return from Pakistan.
Citing the martyrdom of two jawans along the border, the veteran leader said, "We demand strict action against Pakistan for the recent mishappenings across the border."

He added: "Tension prevails across the LoC. Pakistan has not changed its approach."
While the Congress has welcomed the homecoming of IAf pilot Abhinandan, the party demanded strict action against Pakistan for their repeated ceasefire violations.
