Firozabad (Uttar Pradesh): The police have arrested three accused in connection with the murder of a young man who was killed in Firozabad district of Uttar Pradesh.
A First Information Report (FIR) was registered against six people named in the incident.
On Tuesday night, an e-rickshaw driver and a bangle godown owner entered into an altercation when the bangles carried by the driver got damaged. Later, the e-rickshaw driver called some of his associates at the spot. Both sides indulged in brickbatting and opened fire in which three people were injured.
Although they were rushed to a hospital one pronounced dead on arrival.
BJP leaders demanded district the administration to arrest all the accused in the case.
"The hunt is on to nab the other criminals involved in the shooting. The police force is deployed in the area to avoid any untoward incident. Three accused involved in the incident have been arrested and strict action will be taken against the accused and the injured have been discharged from the hospital," said Sachindar Patel, Senior Superintendent of Police.
