Protesting farmers to take tractors from Shahjahanpur to Manesar; 10 hrs granted

Congress has sent tractors from six districts of Rajasthan as a sign of protest against the agricultural laws and in support of farmers. For this, all the MLAs and District Heads of Alwar, Dausa, Jhunjhunu, Sikar, Jaipur city and the countryside of Jaipur have been instructed to reach Kotputli by the night of 25 January. All the leaders have been asked by Congress to go to Kotputli with tractors. The instructions have been given to take a maximum number of tractors to give the best support to the tractor rally.

Jaipur. On the occasion of Republic Day, farmers have been allowed to take out a tractor parade against the newly formed agricultural laws. In Rajasthan, a tractor rally against agricultural laws will be taken out up to the Shahjahanpur border. For this, the Congress as well as the farmers have geared up. In support of farmers, Congress will also send out tractors from 6 districts of the state on Tuesday.

Instead of the party flag, place a tricolour: Dotasara

Congress leader Govind Singh Dotasara has prepared a guideline for the party tractor rally in support of farmers. Dotasara has appealed to supporters not to put the flag of any political party on their tractors.

"This tractor rally is in the interest and support of the farmers rather than a political stunt, hence, the tricolour should be placed on the tractors instead of the flag of the party", said Dotasara.

Minister Tikaram Julie is driving tractor himself to join the protest

Apart from 6 districts of the state, leaders from many other districts have started travelling for Kotputli. It is being told that they will stay in Kotputli on Monday night. Among them, several leaders, including Minister Rajendra Yadav and state Congress Jaipur division in-charge Govind Meghwal, Alwar District President and Minister Tikaram Julie, former MP Karan Singh Yadav and MLA Shakuntala Rawat, have taken charge of the tractor rally.

Dotasara will not go to rally till Shahjahanpur border

Congress workers under the leadership of Congress state president Govind Singh Dotasara will not go to the tractor rally till Shahjahanpur border. However, the strategy ahead of this is yet to be prepared. It has not been decided yet whether the tractor rally will go to Delhi or return from the Shahjahanpur border itself.

About 3500 tractors will participate in the parade

State Congress President Govind Dotasara informed ETV Bharat that about 3,500 tractors will leave for the parade on behalf of the Congress. He also told that the leaders and prominent faces of the Congress will not attend this rally. The United Kisan Morcha has received permission for 1500 tractors from the Haryana government. Although three to four thousand tractors are being claimed to reach the Haryana border.

Rahul-Priyanka may join the tractor rally

It is being told that Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi can also participate in the tractor rally taken out by the Rajasthan Congress in support of farmers. It is reported that preparations have been completed for this at Shahjahanpur border, Alwar. However, their last program has not been released yet.

Workers of Seva Dal have also left on the tractors

At the same time, a team of Seva Dal activists in support of the farmers also left for the Shahjahanpur border, which was flagged off by Congress State President Govind Singh Dotasara and Minister Pratapsinga Khachariwas. Tractor rally of Seva Dal workers left for Shahjahanpur border at 2 pm from Congress Seva Dal headquarters. During this, Chief Whip Mahesh Joshi was also present.

Farmer will rest today in Kotputli

According to the decided route, all farmers and party workers will reach Kotputli with their tractors, where after resting tonight, tomorrow morning i.e. on January 26, they will set out towards Shahjahanpur on the border of Rajasthan-Haryana.

Heavy arrangements of security have been ensured

Superintendent of Police, Bhiwadi said that 5 RAC companies will be deployed for security. Apart from this, the police force has been called from all the police stations of Bhiwadi. Besides, 750 Rajasthan Police personnel will also be posted. Barricading will be done in the morning.

Arrangements for Health care will be made

In view of the farmers' rally, a team has been deployed on the border by the Health Department, which will be responsible for providing medicines and treatment for more than 100 farmers every day. In view of the programme on 26 January, the number of nursing personnel and doctors has been increased. Health department officials said that there would be three to four ambulances on the spot. Apart from this, the doctor and nursing staff will also be present in sufficient numbers.

This is how tractor parade will be taken out

Farmer leader Amaram told that a tractor rally from Kheda border in Shahjahanpur will leave for Manesar at 9 am. He informed that the farmers who have been martyred at the forefront of the rally will have their altar. After this there will be a tableau of 16 states, behind it will be hundreds of tractors and vehicles. This will be a historic parade. On one side the brave soldiers of the country will parade and on the other side, the farmers will parade. The rally will reach the place next to Manesar near the Engineering College, where the national flag has been hoisted. Then, they will return from Manesar after saluting the national flag. He said that the local sons of the state will take out the parade.
