After PA of former Rajasthan BJP chief Bhanwar Lal Sharma, who passed away two days ago, tested positive for coronavirus, many top BJP leaders were home isolated. These leaders were present at the funeral of the State BJP chief where they came in contact with the PA.

Jaipur: Top leadership of Rajasthan Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) went into home isolation after former state party president's PA tested positive for the novel Coronavirus.

Former Rajasthan BJP chief Bhanwar Lal Sharma, who passed away two days ago, had also tested Coronavirus positive.

The PA was present at the time of death and final rites of Bhanwar Lal Sharma. He had submitted blood sample two days ago and tested positive on Sunday following which he was admitted to hospital. All those who came in contact with him have been home quarantined.

As per a BJP source, there were around 1,000 people at the cremation site and social distancing norms were not followed.

He met several top BJP leaders during Sharma's final rites -- current state BJP president Satish Poonia, Sanganer MLA Ashok Lahoti, former BJP state president Arun Chaturvedi, BJP leaders Mohan Lal Gupta, Kalicharan Saraf and several others.
