Koraput: The cyclonic storm Gulab, which crossed Odisha and Andhra Pradesh coasts on Sunday night, has partially affected the communication in Koraput district of Odisha. The road transport has been disrupted due to the uprooting of big trees in Kunduli under Pottangi police station limits. Similarly, big trees were also found falling on the Lamtaput-Vishakhapatnam road at Kanchana.

Following incessant rainfall in Odisha under the influence of Cyclone Gulab, a landslide took place in Sunki Ghati of Koraput while water was flowing on the National Highway-26 near Sunki Hospital.

On receiving information, the Orissa Disaster Rapid Action Force (ODRAF) team rushed to the area and shifted the people to nearby Large Area Multi-Purpose Cooperative Societies (LAMPS) office.
