Shiv Sena all set to expand its footprint in Uttar Pradesh

Shiv Sena leader Raut in an interaction with the media said that Shiv Sena will contest the upcoming assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh.

Mumbai: Shiv Sena has said that it will contest the upcoming assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh. Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut said that in addition to fighting elections in Goa, they will also contest a sizable number of seats in Uttar Pradesh assembly elections.

We are definitely fighting elections in Goa. We are also planning to contest 80 to 90 seats in Uttar Pradesh, Sanjay Raut said. Raut said that their party is planning to contest 20 seats in Goa.

Raut in an interaction with the media said that there are some farmers organizations in Uttar Pradesh that have pledged their support to the Shiv Sena in the assembly election.

There are some other smaller parties that have also decided to support Shiv Sena, Raut added.

In Goa as well as Maharashtra, there are plans to experiment like the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA). Uddhav Thackeray has the ability to lead the nation and the Chief Minister of Maharashtra automatically becomes the leader of the country, said Raut.
