Twenty seven patients diagnosed with Black Fungus were administered Amphotericin B and suffered adverse effects in Madhya Pradesh. But their condition improved later and they are said to be stable now.

Madhya Pradesh: Twenty Seven patients who were diagnosed with Black Fungus were admitted to the Bundelkhand Medical College. Patients were given an anti-fungus injection, which started showing adverse reaction on their bodies. Soon after which, the doctors stopped giving the injection to the other patients.

The doctors resumed their treatment and informed that the patient's condition is stable. All the twenty-seven patients undergoing treatment at the Mucormycosis ward were given Amphotericin B injection.

In fact, in Bundelkhand Medical College, apart from COVID 19, a total of forty-two patients infected with the black fungus are undergoing treatment at the hospital.

Doctors have started treating all the patients immediately. However, according to the doctors, the condition of all the patients who were given Amphotericin B injections is said to be stable.
