Kozhikode-Dubai flight cancelled; passengers protest at Karipur airport

Malappuram (Kerala): Passengers staged a protest at Karipur airport following the cancellation of the Kozhikode - Dubai SpiceJet flight. The flight, scheduled to depart at 7.50 pm on Saturday, was cancelled on Sunday evening after being rescheduled several times. The passengers had to wait at the airport day and night after the flight was rescheduled several times.

The SpiceJet flight from Kozhikode to Dubai was scheduled to depart at 7.50 pm on Saturday. However, the passengers were informed that the flight was postponed to 11.40 pm. The passengers, who had expected the flight to depart soon, were again disappointed.

Passengers protested when it was announced that the flight would depart at 8 am on Sunday. But the flight was again rescheduled to Sunday night. Later, Authorities said the plane had been cancelled. According to the authorities, the flight had to be cancelled due to a technical problem.
