Speaking to ETV Bharat, Barjees Bashir, the library's coordinator, said, "The idea of a private library came when we saw that the students of the valley had to face the difficulties while preparing for the exams. Also, a library came up in Jammu, so we thought why can't a similar library be established in the valley?"

The library was established in March, and in a very short period, 40 of our students were declared successful in the recently announced NEET results.

Speaking about the facilities provided to the students in the library, she said, "This is the first private library in the valley and it is open 24 hours a day. There are separate arrangements for boys and girls as well as CCTV and WiFi services are also provided. The best part is that the library is quiet and has a great atmosphere."

The students who come to the library for the studies expressed their satisfaction. "There are no restrictions. There is silence so we can study without any disturbance. We can consult the teachers where needed," one of the students said.

Another female student said that her parents are not worried as the environment is good in the library. She also said that in the library she can focus more as there are no disturbances.

The management of the library claims that there were many difficulties in setting up the library due to the pandemic, however, now more than 60 students are using the library.
