Bhagalpur (Bihar) : In today's era, man is moving farther away from relationships, with no time for friends. In such times, Kaleem of Bhagalpur and his cute parrot friend are showing to the world the immense value of friendship. Kalim is a resident of Kuppaghat Mayaganj under the Burari police station area and is an employee of the electricity department.
The man-bird friendship has grown to such an extent that they have become inseparable. Wherever Kaleem goes, the parrot follows. Even when Kaleem rides a bike, he does not remain alone. His parrot also rides the bike with him. That's why Kaleem can often be seen driving on the streets with his parrot on his shoulder.
When friendship blossoms between humans and birds, then it sets an example. After UP's Arif, who befriended a stork after nursing it, it's now Kalim of Bhagalpur's Jugalbandi whose association with the parrot has become a topic of discussion everywhere. Kaleem says that the parrot is always with him and obeys everything he says. The parrot coolly sits on Kalim's shoulder when he rides a bike and it doesn't try to fly away.

"This parrot came flying from somewhere. It was injured. Then I treated him. Took care of him for about a month. Since then he does not leave us and does not go anywhere. We put him in the cage. But the parrot did not want to stay in the cage, which was troubling a lot. Then we took it out of the cage. This parrot is with me for five months. Its name is Jimmy," says Kalim, the bird lover.
Lives with Kalim
Kalim said that Jimmy also rides on his shoulder when he travels on the bike. It always stays together. Everything speaks. The office also comes with me. He also goes to others but disturbs them. Jimmy starts biting their necks and ears. It never bothers me and my kids. This parrot understands every word and gesture of Kaleem very well and Kaleem also knows everything about the parrot very closely. Jimmy lives with Kalim like a member of the family.
