The demonstrators called for a total boycott of the Taliban regime. They also asked the United Nations to interfere in Afghanistan and demanded that the UN not recognise the new Taliban government.

Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh): Afghan students studying at the Andhra University today held a demonstration against the Taliban who took over Afghanistan last month after the fall of the Afghan government.

Announcing their support for the Panjshir resistance, the students said that the Taliban cannot be trusted. They said that the human rights and the rights of women are under threat in Afghanistan under Taliban rule.

The demonstrators called for a total boycott of the Taliban regime. They also asked the United Nations to interfere in Afghanistan and demanded that the UN not recognise the new Taliban government.

The students also requested the Indian government to stand for Afghanistan. They said that they could not go to Afghanistan under the present circumstances and asked for help to study here.
