Tokyo: All eyes will be on the Indian men’s hockey team which has a chance to end the Olympic medal drought when it plays Belgium in a semi-final match on Tuesday.
The Manpreet Singh-led side has been in dazzling form at the Tokyo Olympics, reaching the semi-final of the quadrennial event for the first time since 1972.
Two Indians will compete in the track and field events too. Annu Rani will feature in the women’s javelin throw qualification while Tajinderpal Singh Toor will feature in the men’s shot put qualifiers.
