Hyderabad: While people in Afghanistan grapple for a rescue from the country after the Taliban's takeover, there isn't much notice of the former communications minister. The one who dealt with policy matters of the country with tight security around, raising eyebrows, is now indulged in pizza delivery work on the streets of Germany, as per reports.
A media outlet took to Twitter to share photos of Syed Ahmed Shah Saadat, former IT minister's Twitter handle. The photographs of Saadat riding a bicycle while delivering food has taken the internet by storm. German media reports said Saadat is now working for Germany's Leferando Network and he pedals a bicycle through the streets of Leipzig, a German city while he delivers pizza.

Saadat served as Cabinet Minister in Afghanistan till 2020. He assumed office in 2018 but he did not have a pertinent role in former President Ashraf Ghani's government. In 2020, he was persuaded to tender resignation. Following his resignation, he moved to Germany and started living.
Earlier, he had a prominent role as chief technical advisor to the minister of communications and information technology from 2005-2013 in Afghanistan. He had also served as the CEO of Ariana Telecom in London from 2016-2017.
The Taliban entered the Afghan capital on August 15 and proclaimed victory over the government after months of violence. Afghan President Ashraf Ghani fled the country after the Taliban's take over and he is reportedly in UAE. The 20-year-old US's campaign in the country came to end and tensions escalated in the country.
