Haridwar (UP): Yoga guru Swami Ramdev for the second time suggested India must control over the population if anyone denies, neither the third child would be allowed to vote, nor to contest elections.
During a press conference at Haridwar, Swami said, "India’s population should not be more than 150 crores in the next 50 years as we are not prepared or ready to bear more than that,” he claimed. “This is only possible when the government makes a law that third child would not be allowed to vote, neither contest election nor he or she enjoys any type of privileges and facilities given by the government.”
He also added that India is a country in which all religion live together and enjoys constitutional rights equally. Therefore, the regulation is not limited to only one religion, rather it should be followed by all.
Beside population control, he also mentioned a complete ban on cow slaughter. This is the only way to reduce the conflict between cow smugglers and vigilantes from Hindutva, also those who want to eat meat, there are several other types of meat which they can eat", added Baba Ramdev.
He also reminded Mahatma Gandhi dream and added Mahatma Gandhi always dreamt India must be free from liquor and Cow slaughter.
