Bhubaneswar: Three cadres of Maoists who had bounties on their heads surrendered before Police on Monday.
The surrendered Maoists were from the Mahanadi Area Committee and were involved in many Maoist activities in Kandhamal district, said Odisha DGP Abhay at a press meet here.
Two of the surrendered rebels were carrying a cash reward of Rs 4 lakh each and one was carrying a cash reward of Rs 1 lakh.
All three are natives of Chhattisgarh and were operating in Mahanadi area committee, said DGP Abhay.
