MoS for Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment A Narayanaswamy said that the Bharatiya Janata Party will bring justice to all the weaker sections of society.

New Delhi: Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment A Narayanaswamy on Thursday said that the Bharatiya Janata Party and its workers will bring justice to all the weaker sections of society. In an exclusive interaction with ETV Bharat, the minister said that his party and ministry will work against the injustice being done to the Dalits and oppressed people of the society.

Talking about his new responsibility as an MoS, Narayanaswamy said that he was the minister of Social Justice in Karnataka and had the experience but this time his role and responsibility at the Centre is very big. "Earlier, I worked only for the social justice of the state but now I have to keep this in mind that the work I will be doing from now is for the welfare of each state of the nation under the zero-tolerance policy," he said.

Talking about his upcoming projects, he said that there is a lot of work to be done in the area of the old-age pension scheme, housing scheme for elderly people and also for the development of women belonging to all sections. On being asked about the possible removal of BS Yediyurappa from the seat of Karnataka Chief Minister, Narayanaswamy said that Opposition parties are spreading rumours as there is no infighting within the party.

"Yediyurappa is a born leader and is associated with the Sangh since his early days. Politics is in his blood and that is why the Opposition is spreading rumours about him. There is no crisis in the Karnataka government. I am sure, the next election will also be fought under his leadership," he added.
