2. SOUNDBITE (English) Olivia Colman, actress - on playing Queen Elizabeth II:
"It's hard because everyone knows who she is and what she looks like. It's harder than playing someone who's imaginary. And, yes, the reserved side is not something that's very natural to me. Yes, so, on occasions when I couldn't control myself we had to come up with little tricks to try to stop me from crying. Well they gave me an earpiece so I could listen to something boring to try and not think about what was happening around me. Not the mark of a great actor, really."
3. Michelle Williams approaches podium
4. SOUNDBITE (English) Michelle Williams, actress:
"It has been _ by nature I'm a shy person but I'm about to turn 40 and I realized that over a great span of time I've changed and I've become stronger and I've become more able and I've found my voice and I wanted to be able to use it because I know when other people have used their voice, I know what a difference it's made in my life. And I also feel like at this age and where I am in my life, I have so much to give and it would be negligent of me to not try from this position to hand back everything that was handed over to me."
