Gwalior: After Congress launched a scathing attack on BJP's newly-appointed Rajya Sabha MP Jyotiraditya Scindia by calling him a land mafia to target him in the upcoming bypolls, Scindia on Friday broke his silence and hit back at the party by making a big statement on the allegations levelled against him.

For the first time, Scindia countered the allegations and said," This is my property which is more than 300 years old. Is this my fault if I belong to a royal family?"
Jyotiraditya Scindia, who left Congress and joined the BJP, has become an easy target for the Congress leaders. He has been facing constant flak from the opposition. Congress is trying to prove him a land mafia after he acquired land on his name through the Scindia Trust in Gwalior.
Ever since Scindia left Congress, the party has been terming him a land mafia. Earlier, Congress former state president Arun Yadav had also termed Scindia as the biggest land mafia of Madhya Pradesh, while slamming the BJP Rajya Sabha MP.
