A 32-year-old Indian national convicted of child sex offenses, but given light sentences was arrested after he was released from a detention centre. The man who entered the US on December 12, 2019 as a nonimmigrant visitor was apprehended on November 14, 2021 after he attempted to board a Qatar Airlines flight to Doha.
