ଏପଟେ ଏହି ଅଘଟଣା ନେଇ ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ନରେନ୍ଦ୍ର ମୋଦି ଗଭୀର ଦୁଃଖ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିଛନ୍ତି । ଏହା ସହିତ ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ସିଦ୍ଧରମୈୟା ଏହି ଦୁର୍ଘଟଣା କିଭଳି ଘଟିଲା ଏନେଇ ମ୍ୟାଜିଷ୍ଟ୍ରେଟ୍ ସ୍ତରୀୟ ତଦନ୍ତ ହେବ ଏବଂ ଦୋଷୀଙ୍କ ବିରୋଧରେ କଠୋରରୁ କଠୋର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟାନୁଷ୍ଠାନ ନିଆଯିବ ବୋଲି କହିଛନ୍ତି । ଏହା ସହିତ କର୍ଣ୍ଣାଟକ ସରକାରଙ୍କ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ମୃତକଙ୍କ ନିକଟତମ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ବିଶେଷଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ 10 ଲକ୍ଷ ଟଙ୍କା ଲେଖାଏଁ ଘୋଷଣା କରିଛନ୍ତି ।
