ബിഷ്കെക്ക്: റഷ്യ-ഉക്രെയ്ൻ സംഘർഷത്തിന് സമാധാനപരമായ പരിഹാരം കണ്ടെത്തുന്നതിനുള്ള എല്ലാ ശ്രമങ്ങൾക്കും ഇന്ത്യയുടെ പൂർണ്ണ പിന്തുണ ഉണ്ടാകുമെന്നും അത് തുടർന്നും നൽകുമെന്നും പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി നരേന്ദ്ര മോദി വ്യക്തമാക്കി. കിർഗിസ്ഥാന്‍റെ തലസ്ഥാനമായ ബിഷ്കെക്കിൽ നടക്കുന്ന ഷാങ്ഹായ് സഹകരണ ഉച്ചകോടിയുടെ അനുബന്ധമായി റഷ്യൻ പ്രസിഡന്‍റ് വ്ളാഡിമിർ പുടിനുമായി നടത്തിയ ഉഭയകക്ഷി കൂടിക്കാഴ്ചയിലാണ് മോദി ഇക്കാര്യം പറഞ്ഞത്.

​"അനന്തമായി നീളുന്ന യുദ്ധത്തിൽ നിന്ന് യുദ്ധത്തിന്‍റെ അവസാനത്തിലേക്ക് നമ്മൾ മുന്നേറേണ്ടതുണ്ട്. ഈ യുദ്ധം എത്രയും വേഗം അവസാനിക്കണമെന്നാണ് മാനവികത ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നത്," സംയുക്ത പ്രസ്താവനയ്ക്കിടെ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി മോദി ഊന്നിപ്പറഞ്ഞു. ഏതാനും വർഷങ്ങൾക്ക് മുൻപ് ലോകശ്രദ്ധ നേടിയ "ഇത് യുദ്ധത്തിന്‍റെ യുഗമല്ല" എന്ന തന്‍റെ പ്രസ്താവനയെ കൂടുതൽ ശക്തിപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതായിരുന്നു ഈ പ്രതികരണം. റഷ്യ-ഉക്രെയ്ൻ വിഷയത്തിൽ ഇന്ത്യയുടെ ഭാഗത്തുനിന്ന് ഉയർന്ന ഏറ്റവും ശക്തമായ സന്ദേശങ്ങളിലൊന്നായാണ് നയതന്ത്രലോകം ഇതിനെ കാണുന്നത്.

​ഉക്രെയ്ൻ വിഷയത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് മുൻപും ചർച്ചകൾ നടത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ടെന്നും, കഴിഞ്ഞ തവണ കണ്ടുമുട്ടിയപ്പോഴും അവിടുത്തെ സാഹചര്യങ്ങൾ പ്രസിഡന്റ് പുടിൻ വിശദമായി സംസാരിച്ചിരുന്നുവെന്നും മോദി ഓർമ്മിപ്പിച്ചു. പ്രതിസന്ധി പരിഹരിക്കാനുള്ള എല്ലാ സമാധാനപരമായ മാർഗ്ഗങ്ങളെയും ഇന്ത്യ പിന്തുണയ്ക്കുന്നുണ്ടെന്ന് ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടിയ അദ്ദേഹം, എല്ലാ പ്രശ്നങ്ങളും സമാധാനപരമായി പരിഹരിക്കേണ്ടത് മനുഷ്യരാശിയുടെ മുഴുവൻ നന്മയ്ക്ക് അത്യന്താപേക്ഷിതമാണെന്നും കൂട്ടിച്ചേർത്തു.

​അടുത്ത മാസം ന്യൂഡൽഹിയിൽ നടക്കുന്ന ബ്രിക്സ് (BRICS) ഉച്ചകോടിയിൽ പങ്കെടുക്കാൻ റഷ്യൻ പ്രസിഡന്റ് വ്ളാഡിമിർ പുടിൻ ഇന്ത്യ സന്ദർശിക്കാനിരിക്കെയാണ് ബിഷ്കെക്കിൽ വെച്ച് ഇരു നേതാക്കളും തമ്മിലുള്ള ഈ നിർണായക സന്ദേശം പുറത്തുവന്നിരിക്കുന്നത്.

വ്യാപാരം, നിക്ഷേപം, ഊർജ്ജ-വളം സുരക്ഷ തുടങ്ങിയ മേഖലകളിൽ ഇരു രാജ്യങ്ങളും തമ്മിൽ നിലനിൽക്കുന്ന സഹകരണത്തെക്കുറിച്ചും നേതാക്കൾ വിശദമായി ചർച്ച ചെയ്തു. "നമ്മൾ ഉക്രെയ്ൻ വിഷയം ചർച്ച ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുകയാണ്. മുൻപ് നമ്മൾ കണ്ടുമുട്ടിയപ്പോൾ ഈ വിഷയത്തിന്‍റെ എല്ലാ വശങ്ങളും താങ്കൾ എന്നോട് വിശദമായി സംസാരിച്ചിരുന്നു. നിങ്ങൾക്ക് അറിയാവുന്നത് പോലെ, സമാധാനത്തിനായുള്ള എല്ലാ ശ്രമങ്ങളെയും ഇന്ത്യ പിന്തുണയ്ക്കുന്നുണ്ട്, അത് തുടർന്നും ചെയ്യും."

PM Modi to Vladimir Putin: Move from 'endless war to end of war'

Bishkek, Aug 31 (PTI) Calling for an immediate end to the Russia-Ukraine conflict, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday urged Russian President Vladimir Putin to move from "endless war to the end of war," asserting that a peaceful resolution of the conflict is humanity's shared priority.

In a meeting with Putin on the sidelines of the SCO summit in this capital city of Kyrgyzstan, Modi said every day of war sets the humanity back and that India, the land of Gandhi and Buddha, supports all efforts towards peace and will continue to do so.

The two leaders also extensively deliberated on ongoing cooperation in areas of trade and investment and energy and fertiliser security among others.

"We have been discussing Ukraine issue. When we met previously, you briefed me in detail on all aspects of the matter. As you know, India supports all efforts towards peace and will continue to do so," Modi said in his televised opening remarks at the meeting.

"Every day of war sets the humanity back, whereas every step taken towards peace fills the humanity with new hope and enthusiasm. We must move away from endless war towards an end to the war," he said.

"This is crucial for the well-being of humanity. A peaceful resolution to all issues at the earliest is the call of humanity, and this is India's message. The land of Gandhi and Buddha shares a single message: the path of peace," Modi said.

The talks came over a week before Putin travels to India to attend the annual BRICS summit.

The prime minister also made a mention of the Russian President's visit to New Delhi last year.

"Your visit to India last year was highly successful and truly memorable. It is a matter of deep satisfaction for us that our cooperation continues to scale new heights and that we are working together for the welfare of the people of both nations," Modi said.

"Focusing on national interest as the paramount priority has been our shared approach, and this will remain our guiding principle in the future as well." Putin, on his part, said Russia-India relations have witnessed an upswing on the basis of the special and privileged partnership. PTI MPB ZH ZH
