500 women create 'World's Largest Banyan Garden' in Rajasthan's Jaipur

Jaipur (Rajasthan): The World Record for 'Largest Banyan Tree Saplings Plantation' initiative was held in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The feat was jointly attempted by Mahavir International Pink City and Gram Panchayat Manda Bhopawas. A record breaking number of banyan tree saplings were planted at Manda Bhopawas village on August 8, 2021. Around 500 women partook in the plantation initiative which was recognized by the 'Golden Book of World Records'. The world's largest banyan garden is being built in 16 bighas of land in the capital of Jaipur. The women have got their names registered in the 'Golden Book of World Records' by planting 500 banyan saplings together. These women planted 2100 saplings in 16 Bighas of land in which 500 saplings were of banyan.
