Kanpur: ‘Gulshan Me to Sehra Me to Hawa Roshan Hain/Ram Ke Naam Se Duniya E Wafa Roshan Hain.’ These unique lines expressing unwavering faith in Lord Ram are not of any Hindu poet but of the writer Tilat Siddiqui, which is part of Lord Ram’s story. She has translated many literary works on Lord Ram in Urdu and has offered her respect to Lord Ram through various literary genres. Dr Siddiqui, who is posted as a teacher at the Muslim Jubilee Girls Inter College in Kanpur, has reproduced ‘Ram Katha’ in a very beautiful manner.
Dr Siddiqui remains an important bridge of Ram Ganga-Jamuni etiquette of Muslim litterateurs. In a special conversation with ETV Bharat, she said that along with Hindu writers, many literary personalities from the Muslim community have intimately imbibed the values of Lord Ram and conveyed the idealism, valour and message of Lord Ram in their literary skills.

Source of Inspiration
Dr Tilat Siddiqui says that Pandit Badri Narayan Tiwari, the original author of the book, selected her to translate the Ramakatha into Urdu. With his inspiration, she translated the book ‘Ramkatha Aur Muslim Sahityakar Samgra’ in Urdu. She composed various couplets associated with Lord Ram which took her about two and a half years. This book will make all the Muslims studying Urdu understand Lord Ram in a better manner. At the same time, unity and brotherhood will also be strengthened further among Hindus and Muslims.
