Ramakant Behara, hailing from Udaypur village of Odisha's Jajpur district has lost his identity as the family members were forced to confine him within four walls of their house. Behara, a 49-year-old man has been suffering from a kind of mental disease, whose treatment could be possible but needs a lot of wealth.

The family members were forced to confine him in a room as they were not in a position to treat him in a good hospital.

Ramakant Behera hails from Udaypur village in Dashrathpur Block of Jajpur district who has been leading a life in solitary confinement since last 40 years. Due to his mental condition, Ramakant Behera was confined within four walls of his house as he was often turning violent.

Despite his sufferings, Ramakant yet to get a differently-abled certificate from the govt for which he was deprived of availing benefits from various govt schemes.
