A 27-year-old man from Hyderabad who went missing from Gujarat has released his video on Wednesday. In the video, Vijay clarified that he has left for Vaishnodevi after the completion of the 'shiver' (Campaign) on November 10.

Ahmedabad (Gujarat): A 27-year-old man from Hyderabad, who went missing after attending a 'shiver'(camp) at jailed godman Asaram Bapu's ashram at Motera area in Ahmedabad, has released a video on Wednesday. In the video, he has clarified that the allegation against the ashram is baseless as it was his own decision and will return soon.

In the video Vijay (the missing man) clarified that he has left for Vaishnodevi after completion of the 'shiver' on November 10, crossing the Jammu border his mobile stopped working due to the unavailability of the network.

"In the email, Vijay had purportedly said that he has gone to visit Vaishno Devi voluntarily and will come back soon. We are trying to get the exact location using the IP address of the computer from which the mail was sent. We have also sought call records of his phone number," the police said.

Earlier, Ashram authority, Thakar had informed the police that Vijay had sent an email on Tuesday stating that he is fine and will return after someday. He added that the mail was sent from Vijay's ID to the ashram's e-mail ID.

The Hyderabad man went to attend a 'shivir' at Asaram Bapu's ashram between November 3 and 11.

Vijay's brother Sanjay Yadav had filed a missing complaint at Chandkheda police station on November 16 after his brother made the last call on November 9 and went untraceable.
