New Delhi: A 25-year-old woman hailing from Gurugram alleged that a man had masturbated in front of while travelling from Delhi Metro on Wednesday.
In a series of tweets, the woman narrated her ordeal tagging the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), Delhi Police and Delhi Commission for Women (DCW).
"While returning from my office, a man wearing a grey jacket, masturbated in front of me. Feel shaken, numb & angry. Didn't even remember I had taken this pic till I spoke to a friend hours later", she said in her tweet.
She also informed in her tweet that she went to lodge an FIR at Ghitorni metro police station, but there was no lady constable present at the moment.
"Also, I narrated the ordeal to a male constable and showed him the photographs of the man but the constable denied filing my complaint," she added.
She later informed that Ghitorni metro police station has registered her case.
Earlier, A 29-year-old woman in June 2019, alleged on Twitter that a man had masturbated on her and hurled abuses at the Huda City Centre metro station in Gurugram in the National Capital Region. The woman, who is an interior designer, accused the police of inaction and questioned the lax security for women using public transport.
