Chhattisgarh Health Minister TS Singh Deo on Sunday said a government with 70 out of 90 MLAs can never be unstable. His statement was a reply to a allegation made by a BJP leader that Bhupesh Baghel government has become unstable.

Raipur: Chhattisgarh Health Minister TS Singh Deo said a government with 70 out of 90 MLAs can never be unstable. His statement was a befitting reply to a statement made by a BJP leader that Bhupesh Baghel government has become unstable. Health Minister was in Raipur to attend an event organised by Vaish Samaj on Sunday.

Health Minister also denied the allegation made by BJP over rising cases of Dengue in the state, stating that the health department is working continuously and there is no slackness in the treatment.

Singh Deo said, "Health department is working round-the-clock. There is no problem or lack of coordination in the health department. We keep monitoring it. Along with the department, everyone is working together including Collector, commissioner, health department and even the people,"

Speaking over former Chhattisgarh chief minster and national vice-president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Raman Singh's statement that a race for chair is going on in the Congress party in the state, Singh said it seems that Raman Singh wants to join the race.

The health minister said, "it seems that Raman Singh wants to join the race for chair. There is no pressure politics. People and MLAs want to make their point and it is allowed in democracy."

He also expressed happiness over the responsibility given to the Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel. He said, "CM Baghel has been given responsibility in many state elections. After Assam, he has been appointed as senior supervisor in UP. It is a matter of pride for the state."

He further stated that there is freedom in the party and the MLAs who are in Delhi will open up to the senior leaders and will follow party's guidelines. Singh said, "Everyone goes by the advice of the high command. They won't move an inch here and there. When a political person is visiting a place for personal reasons, but it is brushed with political colours. The leaders who are in Delhi will return after expressing their views to the high command."
