Hyderabad: Bollywood live wire Ranveer Singh is all game for exploring the television medium. After his decade-long journey in cinema, Ranveer will soon be turning host for television channel Color’s visual-based quiz show The Big Picture. The show aims to bring in viewers from home as active participants and sees a return to 'feel good television', enhancing family viewing. The makers wanted a captivating host and who better than Ranveer Singh could fit the bill for bringing alive a highly energetic and enthralling show.

Speaking about The Big Picture, Ranveer in a statement has said that his television debut will allow him to engage with the audience in an 'extremely unique and engaging way'.

"In my journey as an artiste, the urge to experiment and explore has been constant. Indian cinema has undeniably given me everything - it’s been a platform for me to excel and showcase my skills as an actor and I have been fortunate to get immense love from the people of India," asserted Ranveer.

Singh also revealed what urged him the most about the show and said, "Now, I look to connect with them in an extremely unique and engaging way through my television debut with COLORS’ The Big Picture. The proposition of introducing India to a 'now' generation quiz show sealed the deal for me. I am delighted to associate with COLORS to bring alive this exciting new property."
On the film front, Ranveer's upcoming films are 83, Jayeshbhai Jordaar and Cirkus. He will also be seen in the Akshay Kumar-starrer Sooryavanshi.
