A global lifestyle fashion brand Calvin Klein is receiving flack over Mother's Day campaign featuring a pregnant transgender man and his trans partner.

The campaign featured a South African painter, a fashion consultant and a trans couple.

The brand is under fire for featuring a pregnant transgender man and his trans partner who are Brazilian reality stars Erika Fernandes and Roberto Bete.

The images featured Bete visibly pregnant, in Calvin Klein underwear, as his wife, wearing a CK sports bra and bottoms, clings to his arms at their bedside. "We can reproduce biologically or from the heart…our place is to love and be loved," the couple is quoted as saying in the ad.

The post has sparked a wave of backlash on social media. While several netizens users have lauded the fashion brand for its inclusive messaging, a section of social media is upset and flooding transphobic comments on the official handle of Calvin Klein.

Many of them threatened to boycott the brand, attacking the ad as a "woke campaign." American-Canadian talk show host Steven Crowder even came up with a joke on Calvin Klein Mother's Day campaign.

Meanwhile, the Brazilian couple is blessed with a baby boy earlier this week.
