New Delhi: Just eleven days before Independence Day, a case of a drone flying near the Red Fort has come to the fore. However, the police seized the drone in time and an FIR has also been registered against the operator of the drone. During the preliminary investigation, it was found that the drone was being used to film some shots for a web series.
As per information, security arrangements have been tightened around the Red Fort, because of the upcoming Independence Day ceremony. All flying objects, including drones, have been banned, especially around the Red Fort and in the area of New Delhi. Section 144 has also been implemented regarding this.

Recently, the police personnel saw a drone flying behind the Red Fort. They immediately got alerted and rushed to the spot, they found the man flying the drone. The police team immediately arrested him and confiscated the drone, the Delhi Police has also registered an FIR regarding this whole incident.

During interrogation, the police came to know that a film shooting of a web series was happening behind the Red Fort. Permission was also taken from the Delhi Police for the shooting of this web series. However, the use of a drone for the shooting was not informed to Delhi Police. The web series makers were using the drones without permission. The police are now taking action against the web series makers.
