Northern Railway Announces Special Trains For Holiday Season
The trains will operate from New Delhi, Anand Vihar and Hazrat Nizamuddin stations to various parts oft he country.

New Delhi: The Northern Railway will operate special trains to clear extra rush of passengers for Christmas and New Year.
Northern Railway Chief Public Relations Officer Himanshu Shekhar Upadhyay stated that train number 02396, from Anand Vihar Terminal to Patna Junction, will depart on Wednesday at 7 pm and arrive at Patna Junction at 2:00 pm on Thursday.
The train will have stoppages at Govindpuri, Prayagraj Junction, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, Buxar, Ara, and Danapur railway stations.
He said train numbers 02309 and 02310 will run twice between Patna Junction and Anand Vihar Terminal. The train will depart from Patna for Anand Vihar at 8:30 pm on Wednesday. Itwill depart from Anand Vihar for Patna at 7 pm on Thursday. The train will stop at Danapur, Ara, Buxar, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, Prayagraj Junction, and Govindpuri railway stations. Similarly, train numbers 05563 and 05564 will run two trips between Darbhanga and Anand Vihar. From Darbhanga, the train will depart for Anand Vihar at 11 pm on Wednesday.

It will depart from Anand Vihar for Darbhanga at 12:05 am on Thursday. Along the way, the special train will stop at Samastipur Junction, Muzaffarpur Junction, Hajipur Junction, Chhapra, Ballia, Ghazipur City, Varanasi, Prayagraj Junction, and Govindpuri stations.
Upadhyay said train numbers 04006 and 04005 will run two trips between Hazrat Nizamuddin and Bandra Terminus. The train will depart from Hazrat Nizamuddin railway station for Bandra Terminus at 1:35 pm on Thursday. On its return journey, it will depart from Bandra Terminus for Hazrat Nizamuddin in Delhi at 2:40 pm on Friday.
The train will stop at Kota Junction, Ratlam Junction, Vadodara Junction, Surat, and Borivali stations.
This apart, train numbers 04462 and 04461 will run twice between New Delhi and Howrah Junction. The train will depart from New Delhi railway station for Howrah on Wednesday at 6:15 pm and will depart from Howrah for New Delhi on Friday at 11:30 pm.
The special train will have stoppages at Ghaziabad, Aligarh, Tundla, Etawah, Govindpuri, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, Sasaram, Gaya, Parasnath, Asansol, Durgapur, and other railway stations.
Train number 05030 will run between Anand Vihar and Varanasi. The train left for Banaras from Anand Vihar Railway Station at 12:20 pm on Wednesday and will reach Banaras at 4:15 am. The train will stop at Ghaziabad, Govindpuri, Prayagraj Junction and Gyanpur Road railway stations.
